How to Play Online Poker
Basically, poker is a game of chance, and the player’s objective is to create the best possible five-card hand. The highest hand wins the pot. To achieve this, the player must either raise, fold, or match the bet.
The game is played using a standard pack of 52 cards. The deck is shuffled and the cards are dealt one at a time, clockwise around the table. The house dealer handles the cards for each hand, which is usually rotated among players.
